The Association of Qualified Tourist Guides in Aalborg was founded
in 1984. The 17 members of the Association have received a thorough
education, and an extensive programme of supplementary training
ensures that all guides are fully up-dated at any time. All tour
guides have a great interest in culture and history, and they have
specialized in telling the story of the town of Aalborg and the
region of North Jutland in an entertaining and popular way.
The Association addresses itself to all groups,
be it families, companies, old age pensioners, team-builders, or
anybody.
The tourist guides know many of the hidden
treasures and will like to show them to you.
The Guide Association will tailor a tour for
your group according to wishes.
The Association guides everywhere in Aalborg
and the region of North Jutland on foot or by coach and guides all
year. Tours are given in Danish, English, German and French.
The Qualified Authorized Guides are easily
recognized, as they are bearing the badge of the Association, the
coat of arms of Aalborg City.
The Association of Aalborg Guides is attached
to the FOF-Aalborg ( the People’s Education Association, Aalborg),
with whom tours are booked.
